While we all have different reasons for picking up a camera, the desire to capture the moment is what unites us. Growing up an avid outdoorsman in the suburbs of Atlanta during the digital media explosion, I remember bringing my first GoPro everywhere — strapped to my chest while fishing or mounted to my bow while hunting whitetail. What started as a way to relive exciting experiences soon turned into sharing them with others on social media. Many years later, I’m grateful for the kid in me that chose to hit record.

Fast forward to 2020. I was living in Montana, spending as much time as possible chasing my passions and developing a deeper appreciation for living in the moment rather than watching it through a screen. As technology evolved with crystal clear lenses and phone camera zooms that doubled every year, there was still a problem no camera upgrade could solve - quick access. I was tired of asking friends to stop for a photo, or to redo something "cool" because my camera was buried in my pack.

I created Ghost Packs to solve a simple problem — optimizing camera accessibility without sacrificing security. We invest a lot in our gear, and it should all work in harmony - an expensive camera shouldn’t be the exception. Whether you’re an outdoorsman like me, an urban photographer, or someone who brings a camera out with friends on a night out — you should be able to capture everything and sacrifice nothing.
