Will it fit?
The Shadow Pack fits a size range, not one specific camera. Measure your setup, check it against the limits below, and you'll know before you order.
If your camera and lens come in under all three, it fits.
Put your lens on the camera, take the hood off, and measure three ways.
A few real combinations across three kinds of shooter. Find the one closest to yours.
The Workhorse
A full-frame body with a compact prime. For the shooter who's put real money into their kit and wants it on their chest instead of buried in a bag.
Sony a7R IV + Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 (hood on)
6.75" D · 5.5" W · 3.75" H
Right at the limit with the hood on. This is about as much lens as a full-size body will take.
Canon EOS R6 Mark II + RF 50mm f/1.8 STM (hood off)
~5.1" D · 5.4" W · 3.5" H
A compact prime on a pro body, sitting well inside the limits.
Nikon Z6 III + Nikkor Z 40mm f/2
~4.8" D · 5.5" W · 4" H
A pancake-style prime keeps a full-frame body short and easy to stow.
The Daily Driver
A crop-sensor body with an everyday lens. The kit that lives on the camera for travel, family, and the shot you didn't plan for.
Fujifilm X-T5 + XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4
~5.3" D · 5.1" W · 3.6" H
The classic Fuji travel setup, with room left over.
Sony a6700 + Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN
~5.7" D · 4.8" W · 2.9" H
The Sigma trio is the go-to APS-C prime kit. Slim body, fast glass, easy fit.
OM System OM-5 + M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8
~3.4" D · 4.9" W · 3.4" H
A weather-sealed Micro Four Thirds outdoor kit that all but vanishes in the pack.
The Everyday Carry
A compact, fixed-lens body. The camera you grab without thinking and never leave home without.
Fujifilm X100VI
2.2" D · 5" W · 2.9" H
Disappears into the pack. The fixed lens is part of the body.
Leica D-Lux 8
2.2" D · 4.6" W · 2.6" H
A pocketable zoom compact with a bright Leica lens. Swims in the space.
Ricoh GR IIIx
1.4" D · 4.3" W · 2.4" H
The classic pocket street camera. Under the limit in every direction.
A smaller body buys you room for more lens. The depth limit covers your whole setup front to back, so a shallower body lets you run a longer lens and still fit.
Running a longer telephoto, a battery grip, or an oversized prime? Measure your full setup against the limits above. If you're close to the line, reach out before you order and we'll help you figure it out.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These measurements come from manufacturer specs for each body and lens. We haven't measured every combination ourselves, and real-world size shifts a little with caps, hoods, and how the lens seats. When in doubt, measure your own gear against the limits above.
